Search Engine Giant Google once again brings a new surprise to bloggers and this time it’s Google Penguin update. Penguin update has destroyed many bloggers. There is hardly any blogger who get the positive result after the update. All are observing down peak in the Google Analytics. The update is to kill the spam, but it seems like it is to kill the bloggers.

Well I am going to list some important tips on how to recover from Google Penguin update easily and get back your lost traffic.
1. Links To Relevant Blogs
In the Google Penguin update the Google has gone strict in the link building. Now only links to relevant blogs will matter. Links to irrelevant blog will result in spamming and your website will get penalized by the Google.
2. Links In Article Only
You must be giving links to other blogs at the footer. But now this is the time to change your view as Google Penguin is strict against it and you should only focus giving links to other blogs in the content. The links given in the footer will neither work for you and nor for the person to whom you are giving links. On the other hand negative results will be there.
3. Anchor Text for Links
So do you like commenting on other blogs to build links. Wait, now make a modification in that as well. Don’t use the same anchor text like your name in the comments. To defeat Google Penguin try to make comments using different anchor texts.
4. Forget The Link Exchange
This is something Google hates ever before but now becomes even more strict to penalize the bloggers who are doing the same. So delete the words like “Link Exchange” from your dictionary and start using the guest posting and other genuine methods to build links.
5. Write Unique Content
This is ever green point whatever kind of update is there. Google is looking to rank those blogs who can do well for the readers. Copiers don’t even think to rank in Google now. Penguin may be too tough to defeat but the unique content is a great way to win over it.
6.Use Tags Properly
Be Google friendly. Try to help Google by providing as maximum info as you can about your blog. This will make their bots to crawl the website faster and thus better indexing of your website. Using the meta description tag is recommended.
7. Give Links To Google
Well, after all Google is also a website who is looking for the traffic. If you do anything good for them then you can also expect something good in return. Google will love to rank you higher than the blogs who are not helping it. You can give links to Google by either giving links to the main site or ant of the services like Adwords, Drive, Google+ etc. So Google is saying: Give Me Traffic, I will give Rank.

Point number 7 is seems interesting and it is something that did not consider before, but then again, it could also be included in Google search’s increasing reliance on social media too.
